City of Belmont Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.
“If you wouldn’t allow your child to roam the world freely without your supervision and interact with strangers, then you shouldn’t allow them the same opportunities in their virtual world. Supervise their activity, create safety plans, and be a listening ear when they need you.”
