City of Bessemer issued the following announcement on Nov. 11. 

City Hall and administrative facilities will be closed Thursday, November 25th  and Friday, November 26th in observance of Thanksgiving. We will resume regular business hours on Monday, November 29th.

Trash service will be interrupted, Thursday, November 25th  *Thursday pick-up will occur on Friday, November 26th*
