CITY OF GASTONIA: To Welcome Latest Global Manufacturing Firm Sibo Venture

County of Gaston issued the following announcement on July 31.

Gaston County is excited to welcome its latest global manufacturing firm to the area, announcing today that Sibo Venture (formerly known as Project Sibo) plans to invest $10 million in a facility on a 6.2-acre site in the Gastonia Technology Park.

The family-owned company was founded in Europe and has been in business since 1967. They have more than 400 employees globally and are a premiere producer of plastic packaging solutions for tubes, containers, and jars. That includes providing supplies for world-known brand-bearers in the fields of cosmetics, oral care, and others.

Sibo Venture plans to hire 20-25 employees in the next 3 to 4 years. They anticipate beginning construction on their new site in GTP later this year.
