CITY OF LOWELL: Citizen’s Academy Applications are Open

City of Lowell issued the following announcement on July 8.

If you have wondered how the City of Lowell government works, you’re encouraged to apply for the Lowell Municipal Government Citizens Academy. 

The 10-session course provides an in-depth view of all City of Lowell operations and is offered once a year. Each two-hour session includes presentations by City employees, hands-on activities, group discussions, facility tours, a police ride-along and a chance to ask questions of City leaders and staff. 

The 2022 session begins in September with a graduation ceremony in January. 2022. View the 2022 course schedule here.

Applications will be accepted July 1 through September 1. 

Apply at City Hall, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm or apply online.
