City of Lowell issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.

The streets of Lowell will be filled with green and festive Irish Spirit on Saturday, March 12, 2022 for our first ever St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Market!

SCHEDULE:
12pm – Downtown Market opens
2pm – Parade
4pm – Downtown Market closes

The parade will start at Woodlawn Baptist Church (1101 N. Main St.) and will end at First Baptist Church of Lowell (400 W. First St.)

Our downtown market will have craft vendors & food trucks.

PARADE ENTRIES:
It is free to participate in the parade! We are currently accepting registrations from organizations, churches, schools, families, and civic groups! Registration is available on our website at: https://tinyurl.com/2p8bdy6z

DOWNTOWN MARKET VENDORS:
Food and concessions vendors are full.

Craft vendor spaces are limited. For information and an application, please email ccummings@lowellnc.com
