Today, Congressman Tim Moore of North Carolina’s 14th district voted in favor of H.R. 1, known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This significant budget reconciliation package aligns with President Trump’s America First agenda and aims to implement several key policy changes.

Moore, who serves on the House Committee on the Budget, expressed his support for the bill. “I was proud to vote for this bill that delivers real results for the American people by locking in the largest tax cut in history for working Americans, strengthening Medicaid, securing the border, unleashing domestic energy, bolstering our national defense, and kickstarting the economy,” said Congressman Moore. “It’s an investment in a safer, stronger, and more prosperous America, all while cutting waste and holding Washington accountable.”

The bill is positioned as a comprehensive approach to address various national issues while promoting economic growth and fiscal responsibility.
