County of Gaston issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.

Sept. 14- Oct. 5, 2022

Details: 

~ Open to Gaston County children ages 4 to 12 years

~ Child must color own entry unassisted

~ Only one entry accepted per child

~ May use crayons, markers, colored pencils

~ Parents must complete entry form (on coloring sheet)

~ Entries available from the BOE office, Gaston Co. Library branches; request via email; or download the Elections Coloring Contest Sheet

~ Return completed coloring sheet to BOE office or Gaston Co. Library branches by Wed., Oct. 5, 2022

~ Select entries from each age group will be displayed at 2022 General Election early voting locations and on social media

~ 1 prize packet awarded per age group: 4-6 yrs; 7-9 yrs; 10-12 yrs
