Gaston County Parks & Recreation issued the following announcement on Sep 10. 

Interested in bike safety? Join us!
Friday, September 17th @ 6PM
Dallas Park / Citizens Resource Center
Instructed by Chad Owens

There will be an outdoor obstacle course and a classroom portion. A few topics that will be discussed:

-Why helmets are important
-How to put on and wear a helmet correctly
-NC Law and Rules of riding on the roadway
-Proper cycling turn signals (hand motions)
-Basic bike safety tips
-Basic bicycle maintenance

Helmets available while supplies last! Given by the NC Division of Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation.
