Gaston County Police investigate sexual assault case involving minors

Gaston County Police are investigating a case of sexual assault involving three minor children. The investigation has led to multiple charges related to sex offenses against a child.

Elijah Dale Wilson, 20, from Mount Holly, faces three counts of statutory rape of a child under 15 years old, three counts of indecent liberties with a child, and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Wilson was arrested by the US Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Taskforce in York, South Carolina. On November 23rd, he was transported by the Gaston County Police FAST team to the Gaston County Jail, where he is being held on a $500,000 secured bond.

“Due to the nature of this investigation, no other information will be released at this time.”
