Belmont home prices rise in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Belmont rose by $9,500 while total sales decreased by 8.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 93 homes sold, with a median sale price of $245,000 - a 4% increase over the $235,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 102 homes sold in Belmont in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Belmont for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,245, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
