City of Belmont issued the following announcement on Jul. 16.
There is misinformation circulating about yard waste services. The city is still offering this service, but is changing who is collecting the yard waste and the process for having it picked up. The city has brought yard waste and leaf collection in-house in order to improve services to our residents. If you need your yard waste picked up, you now need to go online or call to schedule the pick-up by Tuesday evening, for Wednesday pick-up.
