City of Cherryville issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.
The City of Cherryville will be accepting applications for the position of Sanitation Maintenance Mechanic Level II for the Cherryville Sanitation Department (Truck Driver). Applicant must have a knowledge of heavy equipment such as Sanitation Trucks, Back-Hoe, Loader, Dump Truck, Ect. Heavy Equipment operators preferred. Job requires employee to perform after hours and weekend work at times. Employee would be required to have knowledge and operation of Sanitation Trucks and able to run proper routes. Must have CDL Drivers License.
