City of Belmont issued the following announcement on Aug. 19.
As we welcome the opening of our new Belmont Middle School, please take notice that the speed limit on South Point Road near the new middle school has decreased to 35mph.
Please drive with caution to ensure the safety of our youth as they return to school.
