Ranlo Police Department issued the following announcement on Sep 24.
Help make the holiday fun for everyone!
With Halloween approaching, Ranlo Police would like to help others become more aware of kids that are on the autism spectrum.
If you see a trick-or-treater with a blue bucket, It’s important to know that they could be non-verbal or have difficulty interacting with others, Please be patient.
If you are a parent of a child with autism, and are considering trick-or-treating for the first time, please check out this article from Autismspeaks.org. It offers a lot of good advice for the parents of first time trick-or-treaters.
