Mount Holly Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
This year, hundreds of names were engraved on the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC, including Mount Holly Police Officer Tyler Herndon. There are a total of 22,611 officers killed in the line of duty memorialized there.
The NLEOMF is hosting a Candlelight Vigil Thursday, October 14 at 6:00 pm on the National Mall in Washington, DC. to memorialize those who sacrificed all for their communities. Please join us in watching this livestream event at 6:00pm today. The vigil can be watched on any of the links below:
