Ranlo Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
Ranlo Police began conducting an investigation into a shooting that had occurred in the area of East Spencer Avenue.
During the investigation, Officers found that a person had been shot in the leg by another individual.
This person was treated and released from Caromont Regional for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Later that evening, in the area of Teton Drive, the same individual involved in the shooting, attempted to set a vehicle on fire at the residence of the person shot.
During the course of this investigation, investigating officers were able to identify the suspect to be "Uriah Diondrerus McCree"
Uriah McCree was located several days later and placed into custody. He was given a $65,000.00 bond; he is charged with the following offenses:
• Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury.
• Burning Personal Property.
• Discharging a firearm in the city.
