City of Belmont Police Department issued the following announcement on July 4.
We are currently accepting applications to add 2 police officer positions at the Belmont Police Department. We are a CALEA accredited agency that focuses on continued training and education for all officers. Our core training curriculum consists of 15 classes to include Crisis Intervention Team training, Intoximeter Training, Radar/LiDAR Training, SFST Training, Patrol Rifle Training, Emotional Intelligence Training, quarterly in house training with our 15 state certified instructors, and much much more!
We are a growing agency with multiple divisions and opportunities for advancement. Our divisions include patrol, traffic, School Resource Officer, K9, criminal investigations, vice/narcotics, community, and positions on the Regional SWAT team.
