City of Gastonia issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
Christmas in the City is Sunday, December 4 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in downtown Gastonia and CaroMont Health Park.
The City of Gastonia vendor marketplace application is live for less than 20 days, so make sure you submit your business application by October 25!
If you are interested in becoming a vendor for the marketplace, please fill out the below application.
Vendor fees:
- Downtown Gastonia businesses: free (this application is not for downtown businesses- please contact event organizer for separate link to free application)
- Marketplace vendors: $25 vendor fee
- Power: $15 fee
No food truck, food cart, or food trailer vendors are accepted under this application.
Application deadline: October 25, 2022
Payment must also be received by October 25, 2022 for application to be valid. This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.
Vendor Guidelines and Information:
- All vendors will be allowed to display their goods on 12/4/22 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
- Individual vendor booth area is 10' x 10'.
Vendors are responsible for providing their own table, chair, and tent. Tents must not exceed 10ftx10ft and they must be secured with tent weights or sandbags.
- Only space is provided. If you need utilities, the extra fee is $15.
- Vendors are responsible for all permits, licenses, and insurance. Please send all applicable documents to Christine Ingle at christinei@cityofgastonia.com within 30 days of the festival.
- There will be no refunds due to any wind, rain, snow, or other inclement weather. This is a rain or shine event.
- All vendor activities must be suitable for a family event. Offensive materials, ads, or public displays will be removed and participation refused.
- Do not block private drives, entrances, or doors. Be respectful of private property.
- Booth breakdown is no earlier than 8:00PM and must be completed no later than 9:00PM.
- No generators are allowed for booth vendors.
- It is the responsibility of the vendor to keep the booth and surrounding area clean. Each vendor shall leave the area in the same condition as it was found.
- A final packet going over these regulations and procedures will be sent to the point of contact listed on the application within two weeks before the event. The packet will also include a site map, timeline, and set up and breakdown information.
