City of Gaston issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
2022 Jingle Trails Ride
Come join us for our first ever Christmas Mountain Bike Ride at George Poston Park. The 2022 Jingle Trails Ride will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 2022. Registration will begin at 10:00am at Shelter 1 near the pump track. The guided rides will begin around 10:30am.
We will head into the deep woods of Gaston County on some superb winter trails. Over 6 miles distance options will be available, all fully sign posted, with top level of Trail Ride Support.
The routes will give you the very best ride for this time of year. We will have guided routes for kids, beginners, families, and intermediate riders.
The family and beginner route will be a very easy ride on paved roads throughout the park with a quick test on the kid’s trail.
Hot and cold beverages will be provided as well as Christmas goodies for everyone.
T-Shirts will be for sale at the event.
Prizes will be awarded for the Best Outfit and Best Decorated Bike!
