Congressman Tim Moore, who represents North Carolina and won reelection in 2024 by defeating Pam Genant with 58.1% of the vote, has recently used his social media platform to address issues related to public safety and legislative efforts in Washington, D.C.

On August 11, 2025, Moore expressed concerns about safety for visitors from his home state traveling to the nation’s capital. He stated, “When North Carolinians visit Washington, D.C., they shouldn’t have to fear for their safety. Thank you, President Trump, for working to restore law & order in our nation’s capital!”

The following day, on August 12, Moore highlighted a piece of legislation he referred to as “The One Big Beautiful Bill.” In his post he wrote, “The One Big Beautiful Bill is a win for America: Growing our economy Unleashing American industry & innovation Tackling our national debt This is how we secure America’s future. “ On the same date, Moore also encouraged followers to access additional content related to these topics by posting: “Listen to the full podcast here: https://t.co/nMTKrgvubq”
