On June 19, Congressman Moore visited GNT’s facility in Dallas, North Carolina. He noted the company’s production of all-natural food colorings in Gaston County and their plans for expansion in the United States. Moore expressed optimism about the developments, stating “It’s encouraging to see innovation and job growth happening in our own backyard.”
Continuing his tour on June 20, Moore explored the Gaston College Fiber Innovation Center located on the Kimbrell Campus in Belmont. He described it as a “cutting-edge facility” that integrates fiber development, testing, and manufacturing processes under one roof. Reflecting on this visit, he remarked “North Carolina is leading the future of textile innovation.”
Later that day, Congressman Moore visited Chimney Rock to observe progress related to Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. He highlighted the role of a wastewater treatment package plant in aiding the area’s reopening process. His comments included “This wastewater treatment package plant is instrumental in this area’s reopening.”
