Congressman Tim Moore, who represents North Carolina and won re-election in 2024, has recently posted a series of messages on social media reflecting on national holidays, honoring veterans, and discussing legislative efforts.

On September 1, 2025, Moore recognized the contributions of American workers by stating: “Today, we thank and celebrate the hardworking Americans who strengthen our communities and move our nation forward. Happy Labor Day!”

The following day, September 2, he paid tribute to a fallen soldier: “Today, we laid to rest American hero SGT Michael Verardo — a husband, father, and patriot who gave everything for this country. After being severely injured by IED attacks in Afghanistan, he came home and continued the fight on behalf of wounded veterans. I was honored to know”.

On September 3, Moore addressed his appearance on CBS News regarding current legislative activities: “I went on CBS News to make one thing clear: Republicans are getting things done — from cutting taxes for working families to making sure the government is funded responsibly. Reckless Dems want a shutdown instead of working with the majority because they don’t like President”.

Moore’s posts come after his victory in the 2024 general election against Pam Genant, where he secured 58.1% of the vote compared to Genant’s 41.9%.
