On June 18, 2025, Congressman Moore expressed satisfaction with the progress of the Cleveland County Justice Center. He noted, “Great to see the progress on the new Cleveland County Justice Center. We were successful in securing significant funds from the State over the last few years to help make this needed capital improvement a reality for our community.” He acknowledged the efforts of county leadership in advancing this project.

The following day, June 19, 2025, Congressman Moore took a moment to reflect on Juneteenth. He stated, “Today we observe Juneteenth, marking the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Americans were informed of their freedom.” He emphasized its significance as a reminder of past struggles and ongoing responsibilities to uphold rights for all Americans.

Later that same day, Congressman Moore attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new hospital in Cornelius. He shared his enthusiasm by saying, “Proud to join @AtriumHealth today for the ribbon cutting of the new hospital in Cornelius.” The facility is set to open on July 1st and aims to provide world-class healthcare services to residents in the Lake Norman area.
