Town of Ranlo issued the following announcement on Oct. 9. 

You may have noticed on your latest utility bill that the Town has recently been awarded a $1.2 million federal grant.  We are working with graduate students in the master of public administration program at UNC-Charlotte to develop a spending plan and evaluate the best way to utilize these funds.  

Please take a few minutes to let us know how you would like to see the money invested via the online survey.

Lincoln County has declared a Stage 1 Drought Condition as of AprilĀ 16 due to low rainfall forecasts. Residents are urged to voluntarily conserve water under guidelines set by local ordinances while authorities monitor conditions closely.
