Town of Ranlo issued the following announcement on Mar. 4.
The Ranlo Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 10th 2022 at 7:00 pm to receive input from citizens on a proposed modification to the Ranlo Code of Ordinances Title IX, Section 90.03, Keeping of Certain Animals in the Town Limits. The proposed amendment would allow the keeping of back-yard chickens, with limitations, within the Town. The meeting will be held at Ranlo Town Hall, 1624 Spencer Mountain Road, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054.
