TOWN OF STANLEY: Leaf Pick-Up

0Comments

Town of Stanley issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.

The Town will begin removing leaves through the use of a leaf vac starting the Mid Month of October 17th until February 28th.

During the leaf season this route will be continuous Monday- Friday beginning at 7am to 3:30pm.

Leaves should be raked to the curb, NOT on the sidewalk, ditch-line or in the streets.

Please be patient as it may occasionally take a few weeks to get the entire town due to the amount of leaves in the peak of the season.

The town does not pick up waste/leaves generated by private landscaping contractors per town ordinance.

Before October and after February the leaves must be bagged in bags no larger than 25 gallons.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the office at 704-263-0298 and someone will return your calls soon as possible.
